Cui Zhixiang visits GRINM with a delegation
A few days ago, Zhao Zhiyuan, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor, went to General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (GRINM) for an investigation, and listened to the basic situation and current development direction of GRINM.
Cui Zhixiang, group chairman, and Tan Keqin, chief scientist, took part in the activity.
At the meeting, Zhao Zhiyuan introduced the industrial development of Dongying City. He said that Dongying is willing to strengthen cooperation with GRINM in scientific and technological innovation, product research and development, and jointly contribute to the development of China's nonferrous metal industry. Zhao Xiaochen introduced the measures taken by GRINM in strengthening scientific and technological innovation and industrial planning. He pointed out that GRINM and Dongying City have strong complementarity. He hoped that the two sides would further strengthen communication and cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the development and utilization of resources and environmental protection, deep processing and application of nonferrous metals, and training of high-end talents. GRINM will fully combine the industrial advantages of enterprises in Dongying and the development zone, build an innovative ecology of "government-industry-university-research-financing-service-utility", extend the chain of nonferrous metal industry and increase the added value.
GRINM is the largest and strongest research and high-tech development institution in China's nonferrous metals industry, the technological development base of China's nonferrous metals industry and the national international scientific and technological cooperation base. It has more than 10 national innovation platforms and more than 2000 authorized Chinese patents and international patents. More than 600 national and industrial standards have been formulated, providing strong support for the development of China's nonferrous metal industry.
