Cui Zhixiang leads a team to attend the LME Asia annual meeting
At present, the 2018 LME Asian annual meeting was opened at the Hongkong International Convention and Exhibition Center. This meeting attracted nearly 1000 domestic and foreign industry elites to gather in Hongkong. The group chairman Cui Zhixiang led a delegation to attend the conference.
The meeting set up a total of four thematic forums: the global metal market ahead, the impact of the transformation of China’s economy on the global metal market, a golden age of precious metals, and the metal market prospects in the storm of electric vehicles.
During the annual meeting, Cui Zhixiang met with the senior leaders of banks like Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the Russian Foreign Trade Bank, the French Societe Generale Bank and ABN AMRO and in particular held a deep discussion on the supply chain proposed by the commonwealth Bank of Australia for a 500 million dollar supply chain financing scheme. He fully affirmed and highly commented on the supply chain financing plan proposed by CBA and showed his gratitude to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Both sides also exchanged views on current situation, such as the market of bulk metal copper, the trend of US dollar index and hedging strategy of foreign exchange rate.
